Database types
Database group comprises objects created in the database layer which serve for storing tabular data. The main types here are:
Database tables: This is the primary method of storing business and supplemental data in SAP. Tables in SAP are classified into three types: transparent, pool, and cluster tables. What is the difference? They are currently irrelevant to us, thus we will only analyze transparent tables here.
Views: View concepts are well-known in various RDBMS, thus those familiar with SQL dialects will find it easy to recollect. A view is a collection of specified columns that are linked together by a common key and may be sorted or grouped. So, in SQL, a view is a collection of fields joined via the JOIN operator.
